Two new exciting VMP related releases
NEW PC VMP Released with Flash 9 Support!
June 24 : A new PC VMP release, version 3.6.0.59, is now available with full Flash 9 support. Integrating Flash 9 within the VMP produces the most engaging opportunities on the web for creating truly 2D and 3D rich media content with advanced graphics and video. VMP 3.6, running on both IE and Firefox, takes advantage of Flash 9's robust API and all the latest Flash technologies including AS2/AS3 scripted animation and FLV videos (Full Screen included). Full scripting between Flash and the VMP is also supported. This version of the VMP also offers a powerful new interactor system for targeting individual textures, materials, pre/post animators and 2d layers. Furthermore, combining VMP's Superview technology with Flash 9 creates some of the most stunning, interactive web experiences. Release Notes will be available soon.

June 24 : Widget Platform is a local widget engine for the delivery, installation, and management of widgets that brings the VMP interactive experience to the desktop. 3D Widgets are authored just as Viewpoint Media Player content is today so existing VMP content developers can quickly begin creating widgets.

NEW Mac VMP Released
Oct 10: A new Mac VMP release is available TODAY!! Version 3.5.1.13 brings parity to the VMP on both the PC and Mac platforms. On the Mac, enjoy the latest VMP features such as Superview, Texture Compositor, VETScript, VETCamera, vp7 video and more! This new VMP runs on Firefox and Safari browsers on both PowerPC and Intel-based Macs. OSX 10.4 is required.

Photoshop Curves Exporter for Texture Compositor
Texture Compositor is a feature of VMP 3.4—currently Windows only. Use this tool to export curve data from Photoshop, which can be placed in your MTX. Enliven can't author texture compositor content yet.

Broadcast Keys Begone!
Broadcast Keys are no longer needed to legally display content using VMP. If the version of VMP you are using is 3.3 or later you have no need to use one. The Mac player has not been updated to remove the watermark natively, but using the latest 5.0.2 or later MTS3Interface will take care of the problem.
